Narwhals

IMAGINE: you are sitting down. a precious little 5 year old girl comes running up to you. lips shivering with a completely distressed look and she starts crying and says " I asked my teacher if I could go to the bathroom but she said no, so now I'm peeing in my pants"
I look down and sure enough...a puddle starts to form on the floor.

so anyways. we are leaving Kolomoki Youth Camp today. I have realized 9-12 year old girls will scare you, aggravate you, surprise you, embarrass the crap out of you, and bless you in more ways you'll ever think.

We had the camp talent show last night and got a poem/song about Narwhals, a karate match, a 8 year girl, Carol, WROTE her own for real song named "Jesus By My Side" and sang it, many variations of a comedy act, a hotdog eating contest, leaps through the chapel onto the stage, and my very own cabin 1 did a reenactment of Jesus rising from the tomb to "Eye of the Tiger".

Also, for anyone who knows me, I MET MY ELLIOT. I always said if I decide to have my own kid/s I want a boy who has reddish curly hair, freckles, and he will love insects and science and all sorts of stuff like that and I will name him Elliot. Well.. there is a little 7 year old boy named Michael James Smith who has reddish curly hair, freckles, and he is the smartest kid I've ever met. We dug in the mud together yesterday and found some worms....then chased down a lizard he named Tied and we carried him to lunch with us. It's pretty much perfect.

Quotes-- "I don't have a talent...unless you count playing video games" -"elliot"

"LET'S DO IT"- Daniel Robinson
